Pickup vs SUV



Thursday around 10:35 a.m. a Toyota Tundra pickup traveling south  struck a Jeep Grand Cherokee crossing from Shell Lane to Main St.  The Grand Cherokee ended up on its roof and the Toyota struck a utility pole after striking the Jeep. Both of the male drivers, traveling alone, were able to get out of their vehicles on their own and were conscious and alert. They were treated on scene and transported to the hospital by Fire Rescue with only minor injuries. Police were on scene to investigate the crash and stand by for the utility company to assess the damage to the utility pole.

Car vs tree


A single vehicle crash sent the female driver of a Toyota Camry sedan to the hospital by ambulance with minor injuries. The Toyota went off the road and struck a tree head on. Police are investigating

Toyota vs Honda


Wednesday morning a Toyota Camry hit a Honda CR-V, sending the Toyota into a tree. The female driver of the Toyota was treated at the scene and then transported to the Hospital by Fire Rescue with minor injuries. The male driver of the Honda declined treatment.
The  olice Department is investigating.

Three-vehicle crash


Police are investigating this three-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon. A Cadillac STS, Nissan Altima and Toyota Camry collided on Route 431 by the Mobil station. One person was taken to the Hospital, four others were treated and released at the scene. Traffic was jammed until the scene was cleared.

A mother and young child luckily escaped serious injury after their vehicle rolled over. The crash happened shortly before 6:30 p.m. . The Dodge Neon sedan ended up on its roof. Police are investigating.

Head-on crash sends two to hospital

A head-on crash late Sunday afternoon sent two people to the Hospital. A Honda Civic and a Toyota Corolla collided by the Transfer Station. Despite the damage both drivers were out and walking around when rescuers arrived. The impact nearly folded the Corolla in half. Luckily there was no passenger in the Corolla. Police are investigating the crash and charges may be pending against one of the drivers. Trafffic was cut down to one lane causing significant delays for holiday weekend travelers for a few hours.

Three-vehicle crash

Police are investigating this three vehicle crash. Sometime before 11 a.m.
a BMW sedan, Nissan Frontier pickup and small station wagon collided at the intersection of Strawberry Lane and Pine Road.
At least two of the drivers were taken to the hospital for evaluation.
Traffic was delayed until the wreckage was removed.

Two-vehicle crash

 At about 4:15 p.m. Friday there was a two vehicle crash on Main Street and Jonas Lane. A Jeep Warangler heading east on Main St. collided with a Ford Escape turning onto Jonas Lane. The driver of the Jeep was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries. The occupants of the the Ford declined medical treatment. Police are investigating the crash.

Students escape injury after car strikes school van

Four students and their driver escaped injury after the school van they were riding in was struck by a car pulling into Route 66. The crash happened on Route 66 as a Lincoln MKS sedan was pulling out of the  Post Office shortly before 6 p.m. Thursday evening. The Lincoln struck the Ford van carrying members of the High School golf team. Despite a blown tire the driver was able to safely stop the van just up the road. The driver of the car also escaped injury. Police are investigating the crash.
